My name is Yana Khachikyan, and I create miniature paintings. I believe that details lead to perfection, so I try to achieve perfection while creating my miniatures. I work hard on the details of my paintings, as I think they are the most critical part and catch the viewer’s eye.
Painting miniatures requires high precision; capturing small details is not always easy. So, creating detailed art has always been a bit of a challenge. It requires careful planning and execution on a small surface. I tried painting even on sunflower seeds – there is no place for a random brush stroke. So, every time, I am curious and excited, too. I enjoy that the stones are natural – that’s probably why I got so attached to this type of painting.
