A shortlist of Regional NSW?s best new residential and commercial buildings have been named in the Australian Institute of Architects 2025 NSW Regional Architecture Awards, shining a light on the most innovative, sustainable and inspirational homes, commercial and community buildings from across the state?s regions.
This year?s shortlist can be seen as a window into the changing built environment of the state, and a spotlight on the imperative role of architecture in shaping the future of our regions. With a particular focus on sustainability and community, the 2025 shortlist includes innovative residential projects, and impressive commercial and public buildings that are designed to serve regional NSW and its residents.
The 2025 NSW Regional Architecture Awards received the largest number of entries in the program’s history this year, with the jury impressed by the calibre of entrants from all areas of the state.

The NSW Regional Architecture Awards are a program that celebrates exemplary examples of architecture in areas outside of greater Sydney.
