A-cero Designs Sculptural Concrete Home in Madrid
Spanish architectural firm A-cero has inserted another modern concrete home in a modern neighborhood of Madrid Spain. Concrete and the coziness usually associated with a home might not seem to go hand in hand on a regular basis but when it comes to our modern busy lives, concrete can turn out to be the perfect background for a contemporary design. Angular bold edgy lines have been avoided and the curved motion has taken over, molding and shaping an expressive concrete creation. Decorations lack altogether in a vision that allows shape, color and texture to speak for themselves. The grey neutral usual tone of concrete has been replaced by a warmer hue meant to perfectly balance the Spanish climate and surrounding landscape which has been kept to a minimum.

?The project is intended to respond to customer needs in terms of distribution, placement and surfaces. Housing is developed on 3 levels, willing to 3 different levels. It has sought the perfect functioning of housing in relation to the needs of the property to adapt to an average gradient field and turning the main rooms of the communal areas of the development, looking for a better use of the views and use of free plot surface.
