My journey into site supervision began after I obtained my degree in Civil Engineering. I started my career as a site engineer with a large construction company, where my initial responsibilities included overseeing construction site activities, coordinating with subcontractors, and ensuring strict adherence to safety protocols. In those early years, I was actively involved in a variety of projects, such as residential buildings, hotels, commercial structures, and hospitality initiatives. My duties encompassed quality control, ensuring that the work complied with both regulatory standards and project specifications. This experience was vital in helping me understand the practical challenges inherent in construction. My commitment and capability to address complex issues led to an opportunity to advance into a site supervisor role. This position demanded not only technical expertise but also strong leadership and communication skills. I was responsible for managing a team of workers, monitoring daily construction progress, and ensuring that projects were completed on schedule and within budget. What motivates me in site supervision is the fulfillment I get from witnessing a project evolve from concept to completion.
