Aimarawa San Antero Hotel | 3mas1
The Aimarawa San Antero Hotel is a response to the demand for a luxury hotel catering to beachgoers at Punta Bolívar, near Montería and Medellín, with careful consideration of the 8,885 m2 plot, 63-meter beachfront, and 137-meter length, adorned with native vegetation. The development unfolds in strips to address climate change and capitalize on ocean views, gradually elevating the buildings on stilts as they extend into the sea. The layout starts with a breakwater offering a glimpse of the Gulf of Morrosquillo. The first line hosts the pool area and bar, followed by family cabins, a service cabin, a restaurant, suites, and bungalows on stilts in subsequent lines.

Aimarawa San Antero Hotel’s Design Concept
The gardens, beneath the stilts, connect to a lush jungle at the back for visitor enjoyment. The service line encompasses a spa, offices, a children’s playroom, a gym, parking, and technical areas. The entire complex converts seawater to potable water to minimize the impact on local aquifers. The collaboration with interior designers aimed to provide employment opportunities for the neighboring community. Local artisans were engaged in every detail, emphasizing the prominence of local art within the luxury setting. Materials were sourced locally to reduce environmental impact, and gardens were incorporated to seamlessly blend the beach, built environment, and dense jungle. © Daniel Velez
