American Society of Architectural Illustrators to host virtual conference in Toronto
The American Society of Architectural Illustrators (ASAI) is hosting an online conference that will take place from a virtual stage on the Toronto Islands from November 1-5, 2021.
Led by ASAI President Jose Uribe, a Toronto based architectural visualizer, the conference is themed around the Future of Visualization and Design. It explores topics such as the art of illustration and how to shape one’s visual voice, storytelling, the smart use of technology, the importance of seduction and uncertainty in the age of photorealism, and designing virtual worlds in the metaverse.
This year?s event features 18 speakers, including accomplished artists and designers. In addition, the winners of the ASAI Awards will be announced and a Virtual Museum will be revealed and experienced live.Â
?We invite you to join us on a journey of imagination, storytelling, artistry and technology, where traditional and digital media collide to craft an authentic language that can allow us to re-Imagine our future,? says the ASAI.
Tickets to the event are completely free for ASAI members and students. For more information, visit: www.asai.org.
