An app for building lifelike virtual humans features in today's Dezeen Weekly newsletter
The latest edition of our Dezeen Weekly newsletter includes an app designed to build lifelike virtual humans for games and movies.
Created by gaming company Epic Games, MetaHuman Creator has an interface that allows users to select from a variety of preset faces.
Users can then customise everything from lip protrusion to eye distance, skin complexion and teeth, creating humans with lifelike wrinkles, broken capillaries and individual bristles of stubble.
Readers aren't convinced, with one saying, "this makes me feel deeply uncomfortable."
