Announcing the 2021 Canadian Architect Award Winners
Durham Modular Supportive Housing, by Montgomery Sisam Architects, is the winner of a 2021 Canadian Architect Award of Excellence.
Canadian Architect has announced the winners of its 2021 Canadian Architect Awards of Excellence. Now in their 54th  year, the awards are the highest recognition for excellence in the design stage in the Canadian architectural sector. By focusing on commissioned but not yet completed projects along with exceptional student work and architectural photography, the program recognizes design ambition and supports an overall culture of design excellence.
Of the 213 professional and student submissions received for this year?s awards program, the jury selected 5 projects for Awards of Excellence, 6 projects for Awards of Merit, and 2 projects for Student Awards of Excellence. They also selected a single winner of a Canadian Architect Photo Award of Excellence, and two images to receive Photo Awards of Merit. The winners are:
