Hollywood’s Art and Culture Center Expansion Moves Closer to Construction
Brooks + Scarpa’s long planned addition for the The Art and Culture Center Hollywood has finally been approved by the City to move forward towards construction. The new 5,400 square foot addition will bookend the existing center with an expanded Arts Education wing, containing state- of- the- art studios for performance, visual arts, digital media, and music. In addition to these studios, an expanded reception and shared lobby space open onto a new central courtyard, blending the historic structure with the new addition.

The Art and Culture Center/Hollywood is a cultural landmark in Hollywood, Florida, celebrated for being among the first to introduce contemporary arts to the surrounding community. The Art and Culture Center/Hollywood presents contemporary gallery exhibitions, live stage performances, and high- quality arts education programs for adults and children in its current facility housed in a historic Mediterranean Revival building.
