Bilbao Architecture – Introduction
Bilbao is the main city in the Basque Country, north east Spain. There is a wealth of contemporary architecture in the city – such as Frank Gehry’s famous Guggenheim Museum – but also many key historic buildings. An interesting recent building is the Basque Health Department Headquarters designed by COLL-BARREU ARQUITECTOS. Also close by is the recently completed Orona IDeO, San Sebastian.
