Bloc side tables by Pauline Deltour for Established & Sons
Products fair: Established & Sons is introducing its range of graphic Bloc tables created with French designer Pauline Deltour to evoke "a hyper-real, hand-drawn cube".
Bloc forms part of Established & Sons' new Live/Work collection, which the brand has developed in response to the "increasingly blurred lines between living and working environments".
The plywood side tables are designed for versatility and intended to be used to brighten both formal and informal environments, ranging from domestic living spaces to offices and meeting rooms.

Deltour's designs for the Bloc range evolved from the image of a hand-drawn cube and an ambition to transform this into a 3D object using colour. "Treating colour as a material, Deltour's side tables are based on the idea of turning a two- dimensional picture into a three-dimensional object," explained Established & Sons.
"The use of different tones and shades creates a hyper-real, hand-drawn cube," it said.
"Colours often come way too late in the development of a design," added Deltour. "For once I wanted to invert the process."
