BREADstudio architecture projects
Over the past year, BREADstudio been working on a number of exciting projects from public civic spaces to bespoke private homes. As co-curators of the Hong Kong Collateral Event at the 17th Venice Architecture Biennale, the studio will also be presenting a Hong Kong Response Exhibition at City Gallery to the local public, where participants explore critical issues and propose innovative solutions for a more sustainable urban environment.

Opening Soon
The Hong Kong Environment Protection Department (EPD) has constructed nine Recycling Stations under the GREEN@COMMUNITY mission to rebrand the city?s community recycling network. BREADstudio is commissioned to work on the team to design and construct the tenth station in Wan Chai, which is on track to open in Q4 of 2021.

The structure is made of steel, while the trellis is supported by a GRP double curved secondary beam. The station will be open to the public year-round and serve as a shaded garden refuge for the community along the harbourfront.
