Spider Tie was conceived out of a need for builders to be able to form a concrete wall easily and quickly. Greg McDonagh who has over 30 years experience building homes found it very frustrating to have to wait for a foundation contractor to fit him in to their busy schedules. Many times an excavated hole would sit for two or three weeks before the foundation walls could be formed and poured. This got him thinking and experimenting with different ideas. With so many years experience as a carpenter framing homes he decided to take the same approach to forming a concrete wall.
