From the architect. A voracious industrial development has strongly modified the rustic landscape of the valley of Escombreras, planting it with huge tanks and sheds. We are used to associating refineries with desolation.
Section 1

Large-caliber pipes meander through the valley to its terminals in the bay. An arid background wraps all manufacturing industries. Austere mountains, barren landscape, desert in its nature and hostile in its artifice.

The Services, Offices and Staff Buildings serve as facade and manufacturing enclosure. The stone wall, with visual impact, unifies the various functions, which are attached behind and serve as bioclimatic damping against the strong setting sun of the Escombreras Valley.
