Dezeen Showroom: Madrid-based Mayice Studio has fashioned a collection of outdoor seating from curved aluminium mesh for Spanish brand Gandia Blasco.
Called Buit, the range consists of a hollow, L-shaped chair unit, which can be used in multiples and pushed together to make a modular sofa.
Buit is made of aluminium mesh with textile covers
The range also includes Kvadrat fabric seat coverings and a matching coffee table.
"Buit is an outdoor furniture collection that responds to the essence and DNA of Gandia Blasco, the aluminium and the textile that have been present since its origins in 1941," said Mayice Studio.
"From the beginning, it was thought that this mesh would interweave with textile generating a contrast between materials: the cold of the aluminium and the warmth of the textile." Product: Buit
