Call for entries to American Architecture Prize 2016
Dezeen promotion: entries are now open for architects to submit projects to the American Architecture Prize, which will be judged by Alejandro Zaera-Polo, Sadie Morgan and Will Alsop (+ slideshow).

The American Architecture Prize (AAP) was launched this year to recognise architectural design and innovation completed by professional firms, university students and independent designers in the last five years.

The AAP judging panel includes a number of well-known members of the architecture and design industry, including Alejandro Zaera-Polo, the former head of Princeton University School of Architecture, UK architect and government adviser Sadie Morgan, founding director of FAT Architecture Sam Jacob, British architect Will Alsop and Pentagram's Natasha Jen.

Guggenheim Foundation curator Troy Conrad Therrien, Dutch firm UNStudio founder Ben Van Berkel and Canadian Architect magazine editor-in-chief Elsa Lam are also on the jury.
