Canada unveils pavilion concept for Expo 2025 Osaka

Canada has unveiled its pavilion concept for Expo 2025 in Osaka, Japan, which will embrace the natural cycles of Canada?s seasons. The design team includes Rayside Labossière architects and architect Guillaume Pelletier.
The pavilion?s exterior architecture was inspired by spring-time ice formations and the inside will feature a dynamic public presentation inviting visitors to follow a river?s journey across the country.
Canada?s participation at Expo 2025 Osaka is seen an opportunity to celebrate the close ties between Canada and Japan, as well as deliver on Canada’s Indo-Pacific Strategy.
The Expo will also deepen commercial ties between Canada and Japan and promote Canadian innovation and its attractiveness as a destination for business and investment. ES Global will lead a consortium bringing together a talented Canadian team made up of JKFL Productions, The Mirari creative team with Robert Lepage as artistic advisor, Soleil Launière as First Nations cultural advisor, Rayside Labossière architects and architect Guillaume Pelletier.
