Canadian Architect and CASA Announce Open Call for 2022 Student Work Showcase
The Canadian Architecture Student Association (CASA-ACÉA) is celebrating the excellence of Canadian architecture students from across the country with an open call to submit work to the 2022 Student Work Showcase.
The organization invites architecture students to submit their student work within the academic year to be presented at the 2022 RAIC Virtual Conference in June, as well as the CASA-ACÉA webpage. The Student Work Showcase presents Student Work from the twelve schools of architecture at a national scale where the CASA-ACÉA continues to support architecture students on their path through studies.Â
?RAIC members, architects, designers, and sponsors, have all shared their growing enthusiasm for student work to be shown at the conference. We look forward to continuing to support architecture students and showing off the wonderful work produced nationally,? says the organization.
Eligible participants must be a current student or recent graduate (on or after April 1, 2021) of an accredited Canadian school of architecture. Projects must be completed as part of school curricula and be the original work of the student(s). Individual and group work is accepted, provided all group members are clearly stated. Only one submission will be accepted per group or individual.
There will be one (1) winner and four (4) finalists up per category. Work must be submitted to the category in which it was completed. The categories are as follows:
