Canadian architects featured in Time-Space-Existence exhibition at Venice Architecture Biennale
The work of two Canadian architects will be featured in the TIME-SPACE-EXISTENCE exhibition at the Venice Architecture Biennale, curated by Pritzker Prize winner Alejandro Aravena.

FWC Architecture is a small studio based in Vancouver that focuses solely on the design of custom homes. It has worked on projects from laneway and guesthouses to estate homes, with both modest and generous budgets. The firm is often engaged to work on challenging waterfront, cliff-side or mountain top homes. Its work has been predominantly on the west coast of Canada, with the occasional project in the USA and other parts of the world.
The curators cited FWC Architecture?s consistent body of work that demonstrates a strong relationship to the environment unique to the Pacific West Coast, craft, poetry and its methodology which involves offering to invest time in living with owners and camping on sites at the start of the design process. 54 Maryland, a project in progress by 2architecture.
