Collector’s House by Vemworks Architects
Collector’s House is pop-surrealist home recently designed by Vemworks Architects is located in Italy.
Description
The design for this pop-surrealist house was born from the passion of the owner for collecting art pieces, this had to be made to coexist with the classic soul of the building where it is located. This exigence originated a push for creating a unicum, an ambiance, where the two very different souls of the project could exist in harmony. The pivotal point of this conception of duality is the large mural manga post-pop realized by Tomoko Nagao atop of the stairwell that both creates tension and strikes a balance with the architectural space and the objects that populate the house.
