Competition: win a book documenting contemporary bathroom interiors
Dezeen has teamed up with publisher Gestalten to give five readers the chance to win a copy of a book exploring contemporary bathroom design in homes and hotels across the world.
Named Take A Bath, the book uses colour photography to capture design-focused bathrooms, as well as featuring interviews with designers and architecture studios.
The hardcover book is comprised of over 250 pages, and divided into four chapters. Each one explores a different material ?tile, stone, wood and metal ? and how it can be uniquely applied in a bathroom setting.

Highlighted projects include a bathroom by designer Max Lamb that has been completely decked out in a colourful terrazzo-like print, and minimalist grey-toned bathroom by Danish practice Norm Architects. There is also an art-deco home in Melbourne that has an outdoor bathtub, and a shower room in Milan thats been finished with lime terracotta shelving, lime green walls and blue resin floors.

The publication also features several interviews with designers such as Patricia Urquiola, who discusses the playful aesthetic behind her collections of bathtubs and washbasins, and British brand The Water Monopoly, who ...
