Competition: win a Half-Timbered t-shirt designed by Sam Jacob
The latest Dezeen competition offers readers the chance to win one of five Half Timbered t-shirts designed by architect and Dezeen columnist Sam Jacob.
Described by Jacob as "architecture for you body", the design takes inspiration from the black and white pattern of half timbered architecture. It is crafted from 100 per cent cotton with edge to edge silkscreened graphics.

Half timbering is the method of creating framed structures of load-bearing timber with spaces in between them, which are then filled with a nonstructural material.
It is one of the most prominent features of Tudor and medieval architecture.
Jacob describes the t-shirt as "architecture for you body" Dezeen has previously teamed up with Jacob to give away his Citizen of Nowhere passport covers, which reference a comment made by UK prime minister Theresa May after the Brexit vote.
In 2016, Dezeen also featured Jacob's Insulation Scarf, which has a grey background with a black pattern based on the insulation symbol that is used on architectural drawings.

The London-based architect and Dezeen columnist collaborated with MINI to create the Urban Cabin installation at the Oxo Tower Wharf, which offered visitors a space to research and relax during the London Design Festival in 2017.
Five readers will each win a t-shirt. They are also available...
