Designed in 2012 by SKP Architecture, this contemporary concrete residence is located in Créteil, France.

Description
Each space is visually connected with the landscape. The parts of the building have different altimetry, they follow the topography of the site.
Large openings offer views and create a frame on the landscape. Most of the windows face south and provide a considerable heat input. Cable flaps regulate the overheating effect.
The main entrance to the house is in the north, beneath a canopy which creates a false door to the first floor. It gives access to the main living areas of the house: living room, dining room, kitchen, library and office.
On the first floor are the private rooms of the family and the bathrooms.
The use of each part determines their orientation: -At The northeast room and library takes advantage of the low morning light, these pieces are raised to have a framing effect on the landscape.
-At The southwest the living room, dining room, kitchen and artist studio / bedroom take advantage of the full light during the day.
The building blends harmoniously into the landscape, the ground floor, light, serves as concrete base, the natural appearance of concrete creates a soft transition between land and building. The choice of a darker concrete floor allows showcase volumes.

Large openings in the home allow through-views and connect the two gardens.
