Dezeen promotion: the application deadline for the Piet Zwart Institute's interior architecture postgraduate programme in Rotterdam has been announced.
Applicants wishing to study the Master in Interior Architecture: Research and Design (MIARD) programme have until 1 March 2017 to apply.
The Piet Zwart Institute, which is the centre for postgraduate study and research of the Willem de Kooning Academy, offers state-of-the-art facilities and spacious design studios.
Students with a bachelor's or master's degree in any discipline are encouraged to apply to the postgraduate MIARD programme, which starts September 2017.

Led by Alex Suarez along with a team of tutors, MIARD will offer students a design and research education with a critical and experimental focus on the developing field of interior architecture. "A unique quality of our programme is the concept of making public. We exhibit and promote student work, and participate in professional events and external collaborations with renowned institutions." said the Piet Zwart Institute.
A module named Design Projects makes up the core of the programme. It explores contemporary issues and ideas that shape our culture, society and the built and natural environment.
Events, lectures, excursions and guest visits run parallel with student's projects to provide relevant historical, theoretical, technical and professional understanding.
