Dezeen Watch Store has introduced three new sections to its website to aid festive shopping, with each category aiming to appeal to a different style of customer.
Styles by Chi and Chi, Rosendahl, AÃRK and Braun feature in the Modern minimal category comprising watches under £150
The first section is called Modern Minimal, and is dedicated to design-led watches that cost under £150. Watches in this section are unusually minimal, often featuring numberless dials and subtle branding. Included is Suprematism by Projects, which has a composition inspired by the art movement of the same name.
This category features watches by experimental Australian collective AÃRK, including a timepiece with a genuine marble dial and a collection based on circular forms. A standout timepiece is Chi and Chi's Polygon, which looks circular from a distance but actually has 24 sides. Classic watches with a contemporary twist feature in the second category, which includes brands such as MMT and Larsson & Jennings
Traditional or vintage-style watches with a pared-back refresh feature in Contemporary Classics, the second category. These watches all cost under £250. Included is Hong Kong-based brand MMT's new collection of timepieces, which feature engraved patterns designed to reference the surface of the moon.
