The architecture of the Dunbar Residence pays homage to estate homes seen in the Vancouver historical Shaughnessy area. The dark coloured trims, brackets and oversized wood windows contrast the warms toned stucco and locally sourced granite. Substantial overhangs, large-scaled brackets and columns are key architectural features of this home.

The design takes advantage of multiple exposures of this corner property, offers light and shade gardens, multiple outdoor zones, including an ample outdoor space with a covered porch. The layered landscape creates various garden areas, taking advantage of the grade changes of the property.
Outfitted with all the essentials, the outdoor kitchen located immediately outside of the prep kitchen takes the entire length of the rear patio perfect for large outdoor gatherings.
