Dezeen promotion: Radical Innovation is currently accepting entries from professionals and students to its hospitality and product design competitions.
Radical Innovation is inviting designers to submit their visionary ideas for hotel and travel-related projects and offering the opportunity to present the work to a global audience.

The platform aims to assist in turning these ideas into reality, help with industry introductions and connect students with scholarship opportunities.
"Radical Innovation has a legacy of challenging the hospitality industry to think differently," said the competition organisers. "For the last 15 years, the Hardy Group and a group of visionary sponsors have supported this platform allowing for development and design visionaries to come together around disruptive and radical hospitality ideas."
Dream Pod by Populous was named second runner up in 2020
The first competition, Professional Hospitality Design, asks for concepts or built projects for the chance to win a $10,000 grand prize or $5,000 runner up prize.
The student version of this competition offers $1,500 as a prize, plus the opportunity for an assistantship/scholarship at an affiliated institution.
