2016 Neutra Award – Carme Pinós

An event to present the 2016 Neutra Award for Professional Excellence to Spanish architect Carme Pinós.
The award ceremony and lecture will be held on Monday, Nov. 14th, at the University Theater (Bldg. 25) 6:30 p.m. The event is free and open to the public.

The annual honor is bestowed to groundbreaking practitioners by the College of Environmental Design and Department of Architecture. Past honorees include former U.S. Vice President Al Gore; Pritzker Architecture Prize winners Renzo Piano, Thom Mayne and Tadao Ando; and SCI-ARC founding member Michael Rotondi. Carme Pinós will also be signing copies of her most recent monograph: Carme Pinós, Architect from 5:00 – 6:00 pm in the University Theater Lobby (Bldg. 25) before the lecture. Books will be available for purchase at the event on a first come first serve basis.
