Apple has recently revealed its plans for their new store at Federation Square in Melbourne, Australia. The project is the result of the collaboration between the Australian government, Federation Square, and Apple. Designed by Foster + Partners, the store represents a public venue that will increase the area of the square, in addition to hosting activities that will ?inspire and educate the community.?
During recent years, the tech. company has commissioned Foster + Partners to design a long line of remarkable buildings including their store in Chicago in addition to Apple Park.

Residing by Yarra River, the store ?Apple Federation Square? will comprise two floors with the famous glass walls which company?s stores are famous for. In addition to the glass walls, the project also features stainless steel columns as well as stone floors. A terrace will surround all of the second storey, offering views of Melbourne. Moreover, Foster + Partners made a point of supplying the building with renewable sources of energy. Being considered by Apple as the ?most significant store in the Southern Hemisphere,?, the project comes as a part of the government?s plan to revive Federation Square.
Although some people are concerned about incorporating a commercial focal point into the public square, the initial plans of the project have already been accepted by the city.
