We are glad to announce that Kengo Kuma & Associates (Japan), Werner Sobek AG (Germany), Wowhaus bureau (Russia) and Personal creative workshop of architect Bakulin German Alekseevich (Russia) will create a new space of the Galiasgar Kamal Theatre.
To create a new space of the Galiasgar Kamal Theatre there has been announced the Open International Competition for the Development of an Architectural Concept. One of the competition?s key missions is enabling a gentle approach and using architectural language to express the part of the national culture that has been cherished and interpreted by the theatre company for decades. Transformed into a new architectural dominant, the building will remain connected to its context: the unique ecosystem of the Kaban lake chain, the centre of vivid urban life. The theatre will become yet another attraction for Kazan city dwellers and guests.
