Danish studio GamFratesi created animals from metal wire for the Apple Watch Hermès window display in Japan (+ slideshow).

The design duo reinterpreted a set of animal drawings by wildlife artist Robert Dallet, who had a long-standing collaboration with the Hermès brand.

The faces of a panther, lion, flamingo and parrot have all been created using metal wires for the window installation, which is on display in Hermès stores in Japan.
Watches are hung in place of the animals' eyes, with images on the screens used to create the effect of pupils.

"The precise detail of Dallet's animals has been translated in few distinct lines, to create in a playful and iconic display the various exotic animals," said the studio.

"A composition of metal wires, in different depths create an optical effect between the large faces and the perspective of the window."

Launched in September 2015, Apple Watch Hermès is the product of a partnership between the Hermès and Apple brands.
The watch features leather straps handmade by Hermès artisans in France and an Hermès watch face reinterpreted by Apple designers.

Each watch in the collection is etched with the Hermès logo and features dial designs based on the fashion house's classic Clipper, Cape Cod and Espace watches. Prices range from $1,100 to $1,500.
