Dezeen Showroom: Spanish architect and designer Patricia Urquiola has collaborated with Gan to reimagine her Garden Layers collection of outdoor seating in recycled plastic.
The Garden Layers collection includes a range of daybeds, mattresses and matching cushions, which aim to bring the typical comfort of indoor spaces to the outdoors.

Now available in 100 per cent recycled PET, the designs are easier to maintain and able to withstand the elements while being better for the planet.
The collection is distinguished by its generous proportions and low-slung profile, which reference the culture and architecture of the Mughal Empire that ruled India for approximately three centuries.
The day beds are waterproof and made from recycled plastic Beyond seating, the Garden Layers collection also includes matching rugs and side tables, available in a selection of terracotta, grey, blue and green shades.
