Girl attempts to "tame the evil that lurks inside herself" in K Flay music video
Music: Brooklyn director Ken Edge's video for American musician K Flay's FML track follows the journey of a young girl fighting an internal battle between good and evil.
Edge, who has produced illustrations and Instagram videos for K Flay in the past, was brought on board to create a video for the track that is based around finding balance in life.
"Initially, Kristine (K Flay) sent me her thoughts behind the meaning of the song," Edge told Dezeen. "It's about how the things we enjoy in life can also sabotage us, but also can lead to great joy and happiness and trying to find a balance between the two being the ultimate goal."
The designer aimed to capture this "sense of duality", and created trippy visuals and cartoon-like characters using a combination of Cinema4D modelling software and Adobe Premiere.

"I drew a lot of inspiration from the earlier disney films, specifically Dumbo, the tripped-out pink elephants scene has always inspired me," he said.
"I find it fascinating the things they were allowed to get away within the more trippy sequences not only in Dumbo, but also in Fantasia ? sequences that are playful, but malevolent," he continued.
The video documents a girl travelling through her dream world, where she is experiencing stressful days and alcohol-fuelled nights.
