Imagine, studio design by Mélodie Violet, is proud to present House Caledonia, the latest addition to its portfolio of high-quality interior designs tailored to the aspirations of its clients, and well beyond. Two years in the making, the project marks the third intervention realized for the same client, a young family now settled into a completely renovated old home in Ville Mont-Royal, a prominent district of Montreal. In addition to a complete interior renovation of the existing premises, the mandate included the creation of a new extension on the rear of the house, a new double garage, and a new landscaping layout. In moving from condominium life to a large house, the clients and their young family were entering a new living experience. Having worked with Mélodie Violet on multiple designs projects already, the designer was given carte blanche to create an ambiance consistent with their wishes. The couple wanted to invest in quality materials and unique design elements, presenting Imagine with the challenge of finding the right materials for the right space, while ensuring the presence of subtle links throughout.
