From the architect. The house is located in a quiet district in the south of Katowice. There was an orchard with apple trees on the existing plot. The neighboring building and zoning plan imposed pitched roof geometry.

The building is located along the road to cut off private garden from the street. The gable windowless walls are as close as possible to the neighboring plots. Main black solid  with pitched roof, is fully clad with slate. The distinctive frontal diagonal line of the hood is lowering in accordance with lowered bedroom's floor above the garage.
