INAX to unveil collections informed by Japan's rituals of water at Milan design week
Dezeen promotions: Japanese brand INAX has "reimagined the bathroom experience" with two collections, which will be unveiled at Milan design week 2019.
Designed to be thoughtful, sophisticated, and focus on what is needed, INAX's collections are informed by Japan's water rituals that are believed to purify and heal.
The collections are being exhibited during Milan design week 2019, between 9-14 April at Superstudio Più.
The collections are intended to "bring about a deeper level of relaxation"
"Japan is a country blessed with an abundance of water," explained the bathroom manufacturer.
"The Japanese have not only used water to live, but have traditionally used it to reset one's soul, believing that water has the power to wash away impurities," it added. The collection includes space-saving showers with preset profiles
The collections include showers, toilets, sinks, as well as baths taps and tiles. Each product nods to various Japanese designs and traditions.
"INAX is continuously developing new technologies, transforming bathrooms from mere functional necessities for personal hygiene to beautiful and comfortable spaces that refresh and energise people physically and mentally," said the brand.
