The project, already under construction, will expand the structure into a 19-story residential tower that will house 56 luxury apartments. Described as a "lantern," the 210-foot-tall building was designed as "four distinct townhouse volumes with metal and glass."The project will be anchored by 23,000-square-foot retail base clad in terra cotta and limestone, and topped with 120,584-square-feet of apartments averaging 2,153-square-feet in size. A large gym, recreation room, playroom, bike storage and resident parking will be included. Developer Gordon Haskett plans for the 170,000-square-foot building to complete in 2017.News via New York Yimby
