Kuro lantern by Astro
Dezeen Showroom: British lighting brand Astro has released Kuro, its first portable, solar-powered outdoor lamp, which has a minimal look designed to suit any style of decor.
With a hidden LED light that focuses light downwards from its top, the Kuro lantern resembles the shape of a traditional lantern but with a pared-back, contemporary form.
The Kuro lantern comes in two sizes that match almost any outdoor aesthetic
Its textured black finish is weatherproof, so the lantern can be placed outdoors as a decorative feature ? and also to recharge through its integrated solar panel.
Kuro also has a USB charging option, so it can be used wholly indoors if preferred.
The lantern also has USB charging capabilities so it can be used indoors instead The lantern has three brightness settings, and the downwards-pointed LED eliminates unnecessary light pollution, allowing better views of the night sky.
Kuro is available in two different sizes: 50 and 30 centimetres tall.
