The Lake Michigan Getaway on Bridgeman waterfront lakehouse is a secluded getaway, nestled in nature with lush woods on all sides, but still open to the beach and Lake Michigan to the west. It was originally a three season cottage but with an extensive remodel and addition, it’s now a year round vacation home for the homeowners as a respite from city life.

The owners wanted a spacious, modern interior with four bedrooms and three and a half baths and indoor/outdoor entertaining, all while keeping the small cottage charm.
The continuous glass doors along the west side take full advantage of the amazing views and connect with the multiple outdoor entertaining areas, including the ground level stone patio area that runs the length of the house with a firepit, lounge area, and spa overlooking the dunes and beach.

While the home is still a hidden lakefront cottage on the dunes of Lake Michigan, it’s now a modern, luxurious version taking full advantage of the unique site.
