Dezeen promotion: there are just two weeks left to enter Samsung and Dezeen's competition to create new accessory and wallpaper designs for Galaxy mobile devices.
There is prize money of $40,000 up for grabs in the Samsung Mobile Design Competition, which closes for entries on 4 August 2019.
Two separate categories are open to entrants ? one for graphic design and one for product design.

For the Next Mobile Wallpaper Paradigm category, entrants have the opportunity to design the first impression that Samsung Galaxy devices make. Samsung is looking for innovative designs for smartphones, tablets and wearables that suggest new possibilities such as interactive or generative wallpaper. The Next Mobile + category asks entrants to imagine accessories that add interactive functionality or create unique user experiences for smartphones, tablets and wearables.
Both categories call on entrants to anticipate the future of mobile devices and create innovative designs that enhance Samsung Galaxy devices. Designers can read the full brief and enter the competition here.

The top five finalists in each category will have the chance to present their ideas in London before a jury comprising Samsung executives, Dezeen editor-in-chief Marcus Fairs and leading designers including Erwan Bouroullec and Stefan Scholten of Scholten & Baijings.
