Liz armchair by Ludovica Serafini and Roberto Palomba for Expormim
Dezeen Showroom: Ludovica Serafini and Roberto Palomba's Liz armchair for Spanish brand Expormim looks like an archetypal indoor chair but is made for the outdoors.
The Liz armchair is constructed from innovative materials that can withstand the elements. It has an aluminium frame upholstered in technical fabrics, with one plush seat cushion and one loose cushion.

The frame has a curved shape, which prompted husband and wife duo Palomba and Serafini to name the chair after film star Elizabeth Taylor.
"Liz is a project inspired by the elegance of the 50s," said the designers. "The elastic fabric stretching along the metallic tubular structure marks lines and transparencies, giving rise to a play of lights and shadows that make you feel the soft embrace of Liz." Its name pays homage to the film star Elizabeth Taylor
The Liz armchair is manufactured in Spain and upholstered by Expormim's master craftspeople.
It comes in a wide variety of durable Sunbrella or Batyline fabrics, including orange, red, taupe, brown, green and navy blue colours. Two different kinds of sofas are also available.
