Max Fraser to curate exhibition of Scandinavian design at London Design Festival
London Design Festival 2016:Â British design writer Max Fraser has been named as the curator of this year's 100% Norway exhibition, which will return to the London Design Festival in September (+ slideshow).

The exhibition, to be held from 22 to 25 September 2016, will focus on the tradition and heritage behind modern Norwegian design.
Einarsen will also present a minimalist series of bowls and pots made from different clays
Fraser, who was previously deputy director of the London Design Festival, hopes the exhibition will challenge people's expectations about what Norwegian design looks like.
Bergen-based designers Pedersen and Leszinski will present a series of five lidded vessels made from oak and oxidised metal "I'm keen to inject a new energy and outlook that breaks from any preconceptions of what Norwegian design is, particularly in light of the Scandinavian stereotypes," said Fraser.

Each of the 17 exhibiting designers were challenged to create new products that engage with the country's design history.
