Dezeen Showroom: M/Connect 2 is a USB docking station developed by office furniture brand Humanscale to help "make the workstation a more effective tool".
Designed to power multiple devices at any one time, M/Connect 2 can be slotted onto the edge of a desk or connected to Humanscale's range of monitor arms.

The tool uses the brand's "split dock" technology, meaning there are ports both above and below the desk. These support USB-C and Thunderbolt devices, as well as those with USB 3.0 connections.
All essential ports are positioned above the work surface, ensuring they are within reach, while the less frequently used ports are positioned below to reduce clutter.
It is designed by Humanscale to slot onto the edge of a desk "Our products are designed to make the workstation a more effective tool for the use of today's technology," said Humanscale.
"With M/Connect 2, we have applied our expertise and experience to the USB docking station. Our split dock design, which can be used with or without a monitor arm, eliminates desktop cable clutter, increases usable workspace, and enhances user performance."
