Perkins+Will and Dar selected to design Kuwait?s National Masterplan 2040

Global architecture and design firm Perkins+Will has been selected by Kuwait Municipality to devise the country?s Fourth Structural Plan 2040, a national masterplan that aims to transform Kuwait into a commercial and financial hub.
Drawing from its worldwide urban planning experience, Perkins+Will will be responsible for the design and consultancy alongside Dar.
David Green, Principal at Perkins+Will said: ?This plan has the potential to be transformational for Kuwait, moving the entire country into new directions for economic and physical growth based on innovative approaches and programs. The National Development Plan set by the Kuwaiti Government reflects the state?s clear vision for the future, which is set to carry the country into the next phase of its development, and we are honoured to be a direct contributor to this effort.?
