Norwegian Meteorological Institute Building by Pir II
This striking building was designed by Norwegian firm Pir II for the Metereological Institute, as part of the Ecobox environmental project in Oslo.
The main focus of the project was smart energy consumption and the use of environmentally friendly solutions and materials. The building won an award for environmentally-friendly architecture in 2011 and was nominated for the State architectural award and the Oslo City Architecture Prize in 2012.
