OAA seeks participants for indigenous architecture and project management roundtables
The Ontario Association of Architects (OAA) is planning two roundtables for the end of this year: one focusing on project management services and the other on Indigenous architecture. (The latter will centre on reconciliation for architecture in response to the Truth and Reconciliation Commission of Canada’s Calls to Action.) The Association invites members with an interest and experience in these subject matters to become involved with these events, which will take up a full day.

Participation in roundtables qualifies as unstructured learning under the OAA’s Continuing Education (ConEd) program.
As part of its mandate to promote architecture for the good of the public, the OAA conducts roundtables of members in working in areas of practice in order to collect front-line feedback. It then focuses on issues or suggestions, using this information in public/client outreach programs and ConEd programs. Interested members should contact the OAA’s Senior Policy Analyst, Liam O’Brien.
