Oxo Tower Wharf to become new London Design Festival destination
Dezeen promotion: designjunction, one of the key exhibitions for the London Design Festival, is moving to three new venues on the South Bank.
Oxo Tower Wharf, a former power-station site beside the River Thames, will be the new home of designjunction's annual London showcase.
Working with social enterprise Coin Street Community Builders, the brand plans to create an exhibition across three different spaces.
The wharf itself will house a series of exhibitions and experiences. Meanwhile, neighbouring Doon Street will host a wide selection of design brands and pop-up shops, and Riverside Walkway will exhibit a series of outdoor installations.

It will become the latest in a series of new buildings and spaces created in the area since the establishment of Coin Street Community Builders (CSCB) in 1984. The organisation's main aim is to transform the formerly derelict spaces into an attractive destination for living and working.
