Pavilion magazine delves into designs of four Expo 2020 Dubai structures
Dezeen promotion: Pavilion is a new print magazine launched by Swiss construction company Expomobilia that spotlights the temporary structures it is building for Expo 2020 Dubai.
The 24-page print publication features interviews and illustrations that unpack the ideas behind the national pavilions for Finland, the Netherlands, Norway and Switzerland at Expo 2020 Dubai ? scheduled to open 1 October 2021.
Expomobilia hopes it will give an insight into the world of temporary structures, and serve as a point of inspiration for designers and engineers across the built environment.

"Too often the world of construction doesn't engage in dialogue with the other creators involved in making things happen," said Frank Marreau, managing director of Expomobilia. "With Pavilion we opened our doors to talk to the people who go into making temporary structures come to life ? the engineers and architects behind these incredible spaces," Marreau explained.
"We've done this by producing something that people actually want to read ? a beautifully crafted magazine, full of fascinating insights."

Among Pavilion magazine's features are interviews with architects behind the pavilions, which tell stories of collaboration, innovation, and sustainability.
