Pendleton Limited Edition: Airstream’s Homage to 100 Years of National Park Service



Airstream trailers are awesome. The aluminum motor homes with their distinctive shape enjoy cult status. Now Airstream has once again upped the ante with The Pendleton Limited Edition. This collaboration with Pendleton Woolen Mills (makers of luxury woolens for over a century) celebrates 100 years of National Park Service. It?s a beautiful thing. The only slight problem" Prices start at $114,600 and only 100 will be built. However, they are individually numbered and you get a one-year America the Beautiful pass; plus a $1,000 donation to the National Park Foundation.

As far as the vehicle itself, it?s all luxuriously gleaming vintage chic with a rustic cabin vibe thanks to handcrafted cabinets, embroidered Ultraleather, beautiful wool blankets in lush colors inspired by Native American motifs, stainless steel oven, pillows, towels and a signature dining set with Pendelton?s iconic good looks. It?s designed to be a home away from home with everything you might need. It even has a doorbell. It sleeps up to six glampers.
Other creature comforts include a high-definition Polk audio system, two Samsung HDTV?s with Blu-Ray player, and silent, powerful Quietstream air conditioning. In the kitchen area, there?s a map of Yellowstone as wall décor, reminding you to keep on exploring the wonders of our great lands.
