Petite Friture adds sausage lamps and pink-splashed mirrors to collection
French design company Petite Friture's newest products include playful pendants shaped like sausages and lighting based on laundry (+ slideshow).
The collection features pieces designed by London firm Studio Vit, French designer Constance Guisset and Swedish duo Färg & Blanche.
The So-Sage pendant was designed by Sam Baron to look like sausages hanging in a butcher's shop
The label has released an updated set of Francis mirrors created by Guisset, and adorned with watercolour-style splashes of pink and red. The colours, which are digitally printed on the inside of the glass, are intended to recall the oxidation of antique mirrors.
New lighting comes in the form of French designer Sam Baron's glass So-Sage pendants ? created to resemble sausages hanging in a butcher's shop. Studio Vit's Cast lamps are set on rounded concrete bases
The collection also features a set of globular lamps set on rounded concrete bases, designed by Swedish pair Studio Vit.

The duo has often used spherical shapes in its work, previously creating lighting with huge round bulbs balanced on conical supports, and lamps with large steel bowls as shades.
